Ivan Krepak11th grade Student, Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics (Almaty, Kazakhstan)
Being a student of 11th grade at NIS of Physics and Mathematics in Almaty, Ivan Krepak is also a programmer, robot technician and a specialist in IT security. Ivan is the creator of the first smart lock in Kazakhstan “bLock” and also is the developer of a mobile application “Zharys”, a project aimed at increasing the participation of young people in various competitions. He is also the developer of the “Qiianat Etpe” Antiterrorist Antenna project and the author of “VoiceKomek” mobile application, which allows people with hearing and speech impairments to communicate with people who do not speak sign language.
In addition, Ivan is the winner of the “Silicon Valley – Best Business Idea” award. He also studied nature management and water resources in South Kent School (US). He is the winner in the nomination “Make the World Safer” by Kaspersky Lab and participant of the international exhibition “100 ideas for the CIS” (Minsk, Belarus). He is the finalist of the accelerated program of Nazarbayev University “Astana Business Campus Quick Start” and an alumnus of “nFactorial Incubator” – a project on the development of mobile applications. He is the main mentor of “Technovation” competition and the finalist of the “UNICEF. Innovations for children» hackathon. Two-time winner of the contest of youth innovative projects “Nurintech” in the nominations “Perspective” (2016) and “Socially significant innovations” (2017), he is also the winner of the international Olympiads in robotics “Infomatrix 2017” and in electronic journalism “IITU Olymp 2018”. Ivan is also the author of several articles on the theme of cybersecurity.
