Almas Tuyakbayev

CEO, Zero to One Labs

Almas has been teaching his own author courses in KBTU, IITU, SDU, and AlmaU for the period of more than 7 years. Together with his friend and colleague Arman Suleimenov, Almas was the founder of Zero to One Labs company where he acts as a CEO, and nFactorial, one of the biggest mobile development projects in Kazakhstan. He has graduated from KBTU (Bachelor and Master’s degrees) specializing in the field of Information Systems. Currently, he is obtaining Ph.D. at Suleyman Demirel University with specialization in Computer Science. His major interests primarily include efficiency in education.

He also was a founder of and worked at the company FerrumLogic, after which he participated in the Bolashak program to study for the Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University. In addition, Almas has worked collaboratively with the Bank of America on the Home TV Banking project. Upon his return to Kazakhstan, he has launched the nFactorial project which produced more than 300 engineers on the market in 3 years, in which every participant has received more than 500 hours of work with mentors. Up to this date, he has trained and instructed more than 2000+ students for years of working as an instructor. As a teacher and trainer, he has multiple generations of programmers amongst his alumni, 20+ of whom work abroad in recognized companies and organizations such as Facebook, Google, Microsoft, and Amazon.
