Annie LoSenior Vice President and Chief Officer in Asia Pacific, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) (Singapore)
Annie Lo is a senior vice president and chief officer responsible for guiding AACSB International’s efforts across the Asia Pacific region and directs the AACSB Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore. With expertise in leading global teams within the financial services and nonprofit industries, Annie focuses on strengthening regional relationships, while advocating the value of business education across the greater Asia Pacific business education ecosystem.
Prior to her position with AACSB, Annie was director of investment performance standards for CFA Institute. She led Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) activities in the Asia Pacific region and managed relationships with GIPS Country Sponsors and volunteers in the region. Annie was previously a senior manager for Charles Schwab Investment Management, Inc., in San Francisco, where she led the firm’s initiative to become GIPS compliant and verified. Prior to that she held positions with Franklin Templeton Portfolio Advisors in San Mateo, USA; Goldman Sachs in Tokyo, Japan; and Merrill Lynch International Private Client in San Francisco, USA.
Annie has also been an active volunteer for CFA Institute’s CFA program, CIPM program, and the GIPS standards. She holds an MBA from HEC School of Management in Jouy‐en‐Josas, France, and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley, USA. Besides English Annie Lo also speaks Chinese Cantonese and Chinese Mandarin fluently, and has a good command of the French and Japanese languages and culture.
